Domvalue Appliances ("we", "us", "our" or "Domvalue") operates a platform that connects customers with independent Channel partners (Technicians and service providers) for various home appliances repairs and other home services. We currently provide services only in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.

Channel partners are independent partners and not our employees. We act as an intermediary platform that matches customers with these partners and earn a commission for the matching service.

by using our mobile application, website (user.domvalueappliances.com), or any related services (collectively referred to as the "platform"), you agree to the collection, use, sharing and protection of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.


1. Information We collect

We collect the following categories of information:

*A. Personal Information: Name, mobile number, email address, and service address (full address in Gwalior).

*B. Services & Booking information: Selected service category (AC repair, Refrigerator repair, Washing machine repair, etc.), booking date, time, status, and services history (including ratings and reviews).

*C. Technical and location Information: Device details, IP address, and app/browser version.

*Location Data: we track your location from the time the service starts until it is completed to help the channel partners reach you on time. Location tracking stops immediately once the service is finished.

*D. Call recording: We may record calls between you and the channel partners for quality assurance, safety, training, and dispute resolution purposes.

*E. Payment Information: We do not store your card details, UPI information, or bank details. All payment are processed securely through third-party payment gateways.


2. How We Use Your Information
*To process and manage your service bookings.
*To match you with the appropriate channel Partner.
*To enable the Channel partner to provide the requested service (including location tracking during service).
*To record calls for service quality, safety and training.
*To send booking confirmations, updates, and customers support.
*To improve our platform, prevent fraud, and fulfil legal obligations.

 


3.How We share your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only in the following limited cases:

 

*With channel partners: We share your name, mobile number, full services address, and active location (during service) to deliver the requested service. They are required to handle your data responsibly.

With third party service providers: Such as payment gateways, notification services, and analytics tools (only necessary data).

*For legal Reasons: When required by law, court order, or government authority.

*In case of merger or Acquisition: Your data may be transferred as part of a business transfer or merger.


4.Data security

We implement technical measures (such as encryption and secure servers) to protects your personal data. In the event of a data breach, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users within 72 hours as required Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.


5. Data retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide services or fulfil legal obligations. Location tracking is stopped immediately after the service is completed. Unnecessary data is deleted or anonymized securely


6. Your Rights (Under DPDP Act,2023)

*Right to access, correct, or delete your personal information.

*Right to withdraw your consent at any time.

*Right to opt-out of promotional communications.

*Right to request the deletion of your account.


7. Children’s Privacy

Domvalue does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If such data is identified, it will be deleted promptly.
